Ewer's Electric was originally established in 1977 by Jeff's great-uncle George Ewer. He kept shop until 1996, when he retired. George's step-son Jay Lewis, Tom Staebler and Jeff Engelmann decided to go into the electrical and plumbing business in Bird Island in 1998. They thought that keeping the tradition of George's name on the new company was important because the Ewer Family's roots are firmly planted in Bird Island. And so the new Ewer's Electric was established in 1999. Now solely owned by Jeff Engelmann.

Ewer's Electric has served customers in Renville, Kandiyohi, Meeker, McCloud, Redwood County's and many more. The company does subcontract work for Even Temp, owned by Tom Smith of Bird Island. We have done several new buildings as well, for Country Wide Lumber of Hector, owned by Jim and Jan Eiler of Bird Island. Since 1999 Ewer's Electric has firmly established it's credibility and the need for such services is in high demand. We strive to make every experience a pleasant one in hopes that Ewer's Electric will be recommended, requested and acclaimed by everyone we've served.
